    All Travel & Tourism students are encouraged to study a modern foreign language. Languages offered at SFX are: Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

    This course allows students to gain specific knowledge and understanding relevant for work in the travel and tourism industry. It is a two year course equivalent to 2 A levels. You can use this qualification to gain entry to higher education or to go directly to work in the travel and tourism sector.

    The qualification is recognised by higher education providers as meeting admission requirements to a variety of degree courses.

    In addition learners will develop transferable and employability skills such as self-confidence, self-presentation, interpersonal skills and time management, which are highly regarded by higher education providers and employers.

    • Educational trips to complement classwork i.e. ‘mystery shoppers’ at Museums to assess customer service.
